This week we saw the first 5 of 30-off stainless steel 316, low profile tanks we are supplying one of Europe’s largest lubricant manufacturers leave site. They will be installed in Shrewsbury at our customers production site. Once completed, the project will total 260,000 litres of hygienic lubricant storage.
As part of a staged repeat order we have supplied 2-off 125,000 litre stainless steel bulk storage vessels. The tanks were designed in line with EN 14015 and manufactured in house with an interlocking flat sloping base.
We have invested in the latest SolidWork’s 3D CAD design and modelling software to complement our existing AutoCad drawing software. This upgrade will allow our drawing office to produce even more detailed and comprehensive engineering drawings, adding the capability to create 3D models to better visualise projects.
Over the course of the last 6 months we have worked to fabricate, refurbish, modify, supply and install over 20 tanks and vessels, with a combined capacity of over 2,500,000 litres. This is part of a large scale project for one of the U.K’s largest cider producers.
The project included the following vessels:
Given the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, and recent Government announcements, Tanks and Vessels would like to reassure all of our customers that we are open for business until further notice, and working hard to fulfil existing orders and support you. At present, all aspects of the company are still operational, whether that be used equipment or new and used tanks and vessels.
We will continuously monitor the situation and act accordingly to follow Government guidelines, making sure all possible measures are taken to support the health and well-being of our staff and customers.

Last weekend, TVI’s expert installation team installed 5-off 200,000 litre, stainless steel, fermentation tanks. On the Birmingham site of one of the UK’s leading cider producers. Every precaution was taken out in a carefully thought out installation plan which ensured the project was completed safely and efficiently. This involved specialist transport, road closures and escort vehicles.
The vessels were supplied in excellent condition, having originally been part of Brains Brewery Cardiff’s fermentation block (along with another 25 large capacity vessels we purchased last year). Intended for finished product storage, the vessels will provide an extra 1 million litres of storage capacity.
